To celebrate we’ll be posting several articles on the lead up to the event with flashback reviews, lists and previews hyping up Aberdeen Anarchy.

We continue the countdown of the Top 10 moments in Aberdeen Anarchy history that took place at The Beach Ballroom with number 6, Richard R. Russell being shaved bald.

Russell Gets A Trim (2017)

The end of 2016 saw a shock as The Rejected took up The Sterling Brothers open challenge at Christmas Chaos, in an upset they won the WrestleZone Tag Team Championships. The teams traded the titles over the coming months but it was The Rejected that prevailed.

Richard R. Russell made one last gasp effort so his boys could get another chance at the titles, putting his own hair on the line. If The Sterling Brothers won they would be champions once again but if they didn’t, Russell would be shaved bald. It was a big gamble for the adviser for Sterling Oil. Russell was so confident, he even brought out his personal barber and smugly told everyone that would listen that he wouldn’t be required.

Unfortunately, Russell’s gamble didn’t pay off when The Rejected once again defeated The Sterling Brothers to retain their titles. The laughs gathered as Russell realised his fate. He tried to escape but Archer and Vago were kind enough to knock Russell out to spare him the embarrassment of watching himself being shaved bald. The only problem was he woke up on the barbers chair and struggled to avoid being scalped.
